Grow Old Along With Me

Today is my wedding anniversary!  Seven years ago my husband and I joined not only our hearts, but our two beautiful families.  Believe it or not the amount of grandchildren you see in this photo has more than DOUBLED since this photo was taken.  That’s right!  We will have 15 grandchildren!  What a blessing!

In honor of my husband (who is simply the BEST!), I would like to share a very unique way of reading a Bible verse. Instead of saying “love” substitute the name of your beloved and recite the verse.

1 Corinthians 13: 4- 8: “Love (Mike) is patient, (Mike) is kind. (He) does not envy, (He) does not boast, (He) is not proud. 5 (He) does not dishonor others, (He) is not self-seeking, (He) is not easily angered, (He) keeps no record of wrongs. 6 (Mike) does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 (Mike) always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 (Mike) never fails.”

This is my husband, and what I strive to be for him. God really blessed me with the love of this man.  The best IS yet to be.
