I have a guardian angel and his name is Stephan.
I once read in a book that you could give your guardian angel a name. Over the years I pondered over various names and nothing really caught my attention. One day, as I was driving to a doctor appointment, I began to wonder if the reason I had such a hard time giving mine a name was because my guardian angel may already have a name. So, I asked!
About that time, a huge truck went driving past me with the name Stephan (I pronounce it Stefan) in huge letters across the side. Hmmm, I thought to myself, is my guardian angel a male? Anyway, I thought that was too much of a coincidence so I said, “Ok if this is your name then would you confirm it somehow?”
I arrived at the doctor’s office and after signing in; I pulled out a magazine and began flipping thorough randomly reading articles. I was vaguely aware there was a mother in the waiting area with three or four children and she was busy keeping them quietly entertained. One of the children, a small boy, wandered over toward me and gave me an adorable smile. I engaged him in a little conversation. His mother quickly called him back over apologizing to me for his interruption. I assured her it was not an interruption at all! As we continued to wait he eventually made his way back over to me and this time took a seat beside me. I asked him what his name was and he said “Stephan”. I felt my eyes grow larger and the smile slid off my face as a stunned expression began to emerge. In order to clarify, what I thought I heard him say, I looked over toward his mom and asked if he did indeed say Stephan. Wow! So that IS my guardian angel’s name!
